Remind Yourself Nobody's Built Like You. You Design Yourself!

As most of you have noticed. I haven't been on for several months. It seems like life has caught up with me and is taking a vengeance. I have thrown so many hats in the fire with my music career that the rest of my life has been neglected.
I haven't been eating as healthy as I could, I haven't been focused on my workouts as much as I could, and I haven't blogged my progress because honestly there hasn't been any. Actually that's a lie. I have had some little personal milestones that are huge in a way. I can now squat 155 lb. doing 3 sets of 8. I can also do 2 dead hang pull ups where I used to not be able to do any and all around I am lifting heavier. But I'm not happy with my look.
I have fallen into that trap of wanting to look like everyone else. I want to be super super skinny again, I want a flat stomach again, I want I want I want.
SO HERE'S MY NEW COMPUTER SCREEN MOTIVATIONAL PHRASE.
Reality is I am not my best friend or the person next to me at the gym. I am me. I probably will never have a flat ripped stomach. One because at my skinniest teenage years I didn't have one and two because I have had three kids.
With that said though I can be a little healthier every day and I can try and lift heavier every day. And I can push myself more every day.
I design myself. I chose to have three kids, I chose to been unhealthy through college and my early 20's. I chose to not drink enough water the other day and I chose not to wake up early and go to the gym.
It's time to make different choices, and maybe posting them here will keep me more accountable of those choices.
1. I will go to bed earlier so on the mornings I have to wake up at 5:00 AM to go to the gym I will be able to.
2. I will make sure I go to the gym in a timely manner, allowing myself enough time to finish my workout without running like a crazy lady.
3. I will make sure I take my multi-vitamins, and protein to make sure my body is getting everything it needs to recover
4. I will make healthier food choices and stop all the snacking on things that aren't necessary.
(I actually eat pretty healthy but I could do better)

So join me in this journey of
"Designing Yourself"
